Sounds bogus.
If this were true, why would Syria wait instead of attacking first? (Ok maybe to look like a victim, but...)
How would Syria know this?
If Israel knew that Syria knew, wouldn't they attack immediately to prevent further preparations by the Syrians?
May be something being spread to panic the syrians?
It may sound bogus, but what isn't is that there appears to be a whole bunch of IDF airborne in the Bekka, something i didn't expect to see (at least not yet anyway)
Southern Lebanon is now cut off, and Israel is attacking thier client's home base area...
EVERYTHING Assad's father, and numerous Syraian Generals/Baathists have tried to accomplish in Lebanon is now at risk.
Thier BEST HOPE is that by attacking, they can regain some lost Golan ground, and inflict Israeli casualties, before an outraged world puts an end to the fighting....
Thus they come out looking like Heros defending the Arab Manhood...
Just my 2 cents...
All good questions. Unfortunately, this whole mess is in a 'wait and see' mode.
