My hubby who was a professional videographer for awhile says you just really don't know who has the time set right. They may be right, they may be wrong. The AP isn't totally fooling you on that one.

The AP isn't totally fooling you on that one.

AP IS confusing the issue of Meta-data with the posting time, though. Maybe it's them, maybe it's the reporting, but the statements quoted in the story appear not to realize that the time stamp is embedded in the photo, and doesn't vary with the time the photo is posted on the web.

I'm surprised to hear that. Not disbelieving, just surprised.

It would seem the media would understand the importance of accurate time/date stamped photographs. Although, now that I think about it, why should they be concerned? They aren't accurate with their verbal reporting, no reason to think they are accurate with their photography either.
