I think a higher ranking guy was the intended target. He either got away or they got who they could and got out.
This gives Israel some guys to trade back for their guys without having to give up any top guys they already have.
Also, they've been getting bad PR with Qana and recent stuff.
A raid like this gives them some good pr, it's good news for the public.
Sort of like the Jessica Lynch raid on a bigger scale.
The Qana story is falling apart....only 30 bodies now, and experts in Europe calling those babies dead for days.....even ABC News is reporting that.

Whether they got low or high ranking Hizbullies, I am just happy Israel is finally taking this fight to the enemy.
Things got sketchy for awhile, but it looks like the Israeli government finally unleashed the IDF.
I'm definately feeling a lot better about things than I was a few days ago.
