every despot (Ahmadenejad, Chavez, Lil Kim, Lukashenko) will attend the funeral. Gee, wouldn't it just be too bad, if say, a stray bomb would fall right on top of all of them? Quick, someone alert Rove to have is hurricane machine warmed up

Caring for an elderly man with major abdominal surgery requires diagnostic equipment and blood components not routinely found in Cuban hospitals. He should not be optimistic about his chances.
Kind of weird that with all the lies they perpetrate that they would be forthright about what is wrong with him
Something ain't right

This will send all Hollywood into mourning.

My money's on him secretly getting spirited away to an evil, bourgeois, capitalist hospital, probably in Switzerland. Some pigs are more equal than others, after all, and Castro is way too equal for socialized medicine.

I'm sure the socialist doctors will see that he dies of "natural" causes.

Oh, I was joking about "prior medical issues" that JFK might have had before "presenting" at Parkland with brain matter all over his wife's nice pink Chanel.

It's reasonable to suspect he's already assumed room temperature. He may have already met his Maker. If so, he's got some serious 'splainin to do!

That's what I thought.
I'm a bit tired tonight so it flew right over my head :)

I think the OP was probably talking about all the back pain and meds, the Addison's, the clintonitis, various things like that.

El diagnóstico que ofreció el mandatario fue de "estrés extremo" que le provocó "una crisis intestinal aguda con sangramiento sostenido", lo cual lo obligó a "enfrentar una complicada operación quirúrgica".It says he has been under extreme stress which provoked sustained intestinal bleeding and must deal with complicated surgery.

If I were Cuban, I wouldn't want to be on Raul Castro's bad side at this particular time.

They're celebrating bigtime on Calle Ocho down here. Looks like at least several hundred from the TV shot -- could be much more.

Addendum: Its name is Chris and it may stay to the NE and miss Cuba ... OTOH, Rove *could* change his mind in the next 3 days. It *might* take a jog to the west when it's over PR or Hispaniola - you never can tell.

And he can't leave the country for surgery or publicly bring in other outside doctors or else it would be an indictment of the whole "wonderful" Cuban medical system.
