Well I think so. Have you looked into the politics of his relatives who are still basking in his memory? I also remember his presidency. As a 13 year old, I sat up all night the night he was elected waiting for Cook County Ill to finally announce the vote count. Of course they didn't until they knew what the count needed to be. Crooked, crooked, crooked.

Dang, you beat me to it. Of course, calling Castro a bastard is going a great insult to perfectly respectable bastards the world over...

That wasn't really what I was going for there with the comment.
Communist leaders seem to have this thing that before they are "dead" within their state-controlled media, there seems to be an event kinda like this one, where the leader will have already been dead to about every doctor in the world for quite a while.
FDR and JFK don't really count. It was fairly quick with FDR after his massive stroke and JFK's death was obvious.
You're going to have to explain.
then you are the guy i argue with about 20 times a day
Looks like Castro will soon be leaving this world and entering the next, where his soul will be judged and the sentence lasts for an eternity. Just the thought of his eternal fate makes me want to take care of my own soul a heck of a lot better.

They're a sick bunch. Let them keep talking. There's an election to win.
Unless you meant that they died of those health issues. Neither JFK or FDR died of the hidden health issue.
And think about it, for his funeral, every despot (Ahmadenejad, Chavez, Lil Kim, Lukashenko) will attend the funeral. Gee, wouldn't it just be too bad, if say, a stray bomb would fall right on top of all of them?
Oh Man, why do the Yankee's have to get all the good stuff? The Orioles really need some help too you know...oh never mind, Peter Angelos owns the Orioles and until he sells or to someone not a cheap, arrogant, and incompentent, ambulance chasing lawyer SOB or assumes room temperature like I hope Castro is about to, there is no hope so..The Yankees Win... The Yaaaankees Win (again - :))
At least my brother will be happy!
OK, I'm sooooooooooo not a poet (as you will see); but I'm going to wish myself a Happy Birthday today:
Happy birthday to meeeeeee!
May he no longer beeeeeeee!
Throw him in the seeeeeeea!
Happy birthday to meeeeeee!
(Yes, I know that's wicked. Sigh!)
You know what I meant.....
