Weasel talk. Taking your food and water away would just as artificially un-prolong your life.

All of the doctors (even the ones who advocated killing her) agreed that she was alive. They didn't all agree on how much she interacted with her environment, but they all agreed that she interacted on a level that was inconsistent with the medical community's established criteria for PVS, as well as Florida's legal definition of PVS. One of michael's hand-picked doctors admitted that he had his own private definition of PVS, which would include the majority of people with traumatic brain injuries. Even he admitted that Terri interacted with her environment.

Then we have the self-proclaimed experts, who claim that anyone who requires food and water is not only PVS, but dead.

It doesn't cost hundreds of thousands a year to provide me with food and water. I can get it myself, eat it myself and drink it myself and ask for more if I wish.
