Christopher Hitchens claims that he is partially Jewish and that therefore he has a right to vilify Israel every chance he gets without being criticized.

He and his late buddy Edward Said were always denouncing Israel and apologizing for the Palestinians. Whenever he'd be on the air about a situation there, his answers were predictable from the beginning: Israel lobby controls Washington, too-harsh responses to attacks, etc.

I guess maybe I shouldn't call him antisemitic, but he's definitely anti-Israel.
