I avoid the "live" thread like the plague. Full of small talk

Live thread is a good idea and I'm sure intentions are good but I agree that there is way too much small talk and pings. I read it last if time permits but often skip it.

My problem is that some posters, not all, become very proprietorial after starting a thread, especially the live ones. They begin to act like pseudo mods on that thread and even go out and chastise other posters for having the nerve to start other threads.
