Greg Palkot said in his last report that HE had no trouble getting there and getting back to Tyre....he said the roads were FINE. And if the civilians didn't have any cars they certainly could've walked. Palkot also said earlier today that Qafa was only 8 or 9 miles from Tyre.I need to have the vcr running this morning. I thought a few hours ago that Greg said it took him a long time to get there, but just now it's the opposite. From Google Earth is looks about twice that distance and that's as the crow flies. Google needs to get better maps of places of interest.

Yeah, I need to either run a vcr all the time or invest in a Tivo. I didn't hear Greg's report that said it took him a long time to get there, but I haven't been in front of the TV constantly either. Either way, the civilians could've WALKED to Tyre....they've had 2 weeks.

Checked the coords again and it is 24 miles from Tyre as the crow flies. Greg has been totally wishy washy today. He may always be but I'm paying more attention to the details today.
