I don't understand why Condi is still there. I'm not trying to be inflamatory here, I'm asking a real question. If she's trying to lay the ground work for a UN resolution, why isn't Kofi doing this?

I don't understand what business of ours or hers that she should have gone in the first place. If she was that concerned, then why isn't she sitting down for tea with Hezbollah? With this trip, she's lost my vote in '08 (not that she was running, but whatever). Ha, Kofi getting dust on his nice Italian handmade shoes, no way. He's not about to leave his a/c and room service.

This part I do understand: The world always demands that the U.S. "DO" something. No other nation as the backbone to even try.

But, she probably should have come home when Hezbollah refused the conditions for a cease fire. I'm saddened to see her (our) face smack in the middle of the events of this day.
