The media is making it seem as Sec of State Rice had a quasi breakdown upon learning of the Qana news.
" Clearly shaken " is how Andrea Mitchell put it.
I recall another outlet describing her as " quivering with rage."
Either Dr. Rice is not up to the job ( which I hope not ) or the media is trying to make her seem weak and wimpy-fearful of a challenge to Hillary .
BINGO...I saw a similar report on CNN a while ago...but I felt it too "manufactured" to post it here.
The Media..and especially the DEMS do NOT want Condi to be seen in a good light, no matter what happens.
Condi is not only up for the job but you know she is doing good when the drive by media slams her like Andrea Mitchell and as others have reported CNN calling this Condi's war.
More like she's suffering from fatigue, some frustration, jetlag and trying to cope with a very serious situation.

Are you really wanting to trust any coloring, any adjectives they would use to describe Condi's demeanor?
I don't put much stock in what the media says.
I do pay attention to direct quotes, and per those quotes, Condi said "It's time for a ceasefire" when Bush was still working to keep just such wording out of the UN Resolution.
There's basic conflict there, and Bush isn't a guy who lets his employees off easy for stepping off the reservation.
The relationship with Dr. Rice is deep and goes way back, so I do not think there will be public hostility or any humiliation what-so-ever, but I also don't think Bush will change policy just to get her off the hook.
If you watch for it, you will see it when it comes.
