For some reason, my computer isn't getting the video...just a multi-colored X.
I appreciate you sending it....maybe they will re-show it on Fox this afternoon...when news slows down a bit.
Well, well well. Looky here.
What a surprise.

Enter that string in Google Earth search box.
This is what you get. Is this it?
OMG.....THAT would be the "smoking gun" that Israel needs to show the world....if they could prove it.
Maybe what Palkot saw...would have lent itself to prove the scenario from your article.
If it did...couldn't Palkot have talked privately to FOX?
This is interesting! Someone posting on the live thread in the wee hours this morning heard a report that the Israeli strike did not actually hit the building, but nearby, with shock waves causing the building to collapse.
Perhaps the investigation --- which Israel says it will do --- will reveal how much artillery damage there is to the structure and where it came from.

"Timing - it is pretty amazing that it took 6 (SIX) hours for the ambulances to get there from Tyre? - that's really not a six hour drive no matter what the condition of the roads. Even if somebody had to get on a bicycle and pedal up to Tyre to get the ambulances - it shouldn't take that long."
I heard that earlier as well. My thought - where are the much vaunted Hezbollah social services? All those ambulances and hospitals and stuff that hezbos build? IIRC the original article indicated that Chinese engineers (WTF?) were the first to arrive with backhoes and such...
Well, the building shown in the Fox video is not in the town at these coordinates. Not sure what that means.
" This is the part I don't quite understand. How can all the administrations from President Reagan's until today tolerate the torture and murder of our Marines and other personnel by the terrorists? ""
I don't understand it either. You'd think after what those murdering thugs did to our Marines, they would have been eliminated years ago.
It is beginning to look that way more and more......Paliwood films, a time frame that doesn't make sense, the history of Qana (site for a similar disaster in 1996 that put stop to an Israeli action against Hezb), a CNN reporter who says the building was not hit directly, a strike some meters away.
Waiting for further news from IAF, but the tradgedy may have been caused by the building collapsing much later due to structural defects, or because the IAF bombs set of something explsoive in the building (stored explosives or gas from a broken pipe).
PS: Thanks for your comments re my post yesterday. Blushed all over.
;^))
Incidentally, the video shown on Israeli TV of Cana shows lots of men being carried out from the building including one with a HUGE stomach
that is "big guy with the stripe on his shirt" As opposed to the "guy with ripped shirt". Both are competing for "Looter Guy" status.
This is precisely why people like Kral Rove, wizards of information management, shouldn't be cut out of the military planning loop.
A professional would have had that video all racked up and ready to feed to the networks within one hour of the return of the air raid on Qana, instead, we let the military get around to it when the beans are already rolling all over the floor, citing OPSEC as an excuse for the fact that they really have no clue when it comes to fighting an information war.
Tanks and planes, yes, grid squares and LOC's yes, counter assaults in the global perception arena, huh?
If you want to know why we win war after war and lose peace after peace, start here.
Time and time again, the United Nations has been called upon to protect innocent people and has failed........
And often they've been part of the problem or they've created their own set of problems.
Israel has also confirmed that Nur Shalhoub, a senior Hezbollah terrorist, was killed in an aerial attack of his vehicle on Thursday. Shalhoub was responsible for the smuggling of strategic weapons for Hezbollah including long range missiles, which can reach deep into Israel. The IAF targeted the vehicle in the area of Bekaa during a smuggling attempt. In addition to Shalhub, several additional terrorists who were in the vehicle were killed. The vehicle was loaded with missiles at the time of the attack.
Someone at Google Earth has it at 33.073169 35.125465.
The travel site has it at 33.47361 35.51250.
Heck, let Israel lob a few more over there and it'll be wiped off the map... wherever it is/was.
I always look forward to your posts...you bring a great perspective to the thread...well thought out.
