I think the IDF had good intel re: Hezbollah building residences and schools built over bunkers.

It sounds like they did everything they could to warn the "human sheilds" to get out.

The rockets are not going to stop-- hzblh will not be able to resist attacking israel-- but with this 24 hours, Israel will have accomplished removing the only barrier to carpet bombing these known bunkers. Israel's actions will have cleared the field of non-combatants.

Oddly enough, the sermon at worship today was on the "sign" of turning water into wine--which let's face it, is a very strange sort of introduction to G-d manifest in the flesh. The Pastor was describing the middle easern concept of shame, which is very different from out own view of embarrassment. The bride and groom and their families would have been shamed forever by not being able to offer hospitality. (The transformation was a symbol of restoration--restoring man to having no shame before G-d, like Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.)

HZBLH can't NOT attack. It would shame them to stop. Sick, isn't it.

Been listening to Capt Dale Dye on KFI the past 90 minutes. He served with the 24th MEU in Beirut in 82-83 and as a peacekeeper later on.

Anyway, he suspect that Hezbollah will launch the remaining rockets they have in the South, turn tale, and then hole up in Beirut. The word he has is that they have been running low on ammunition in the south, and have to head north during this "operational pause" which will be used to resupply the bad guys

Well...it certainly should make the protests at the UN's calm down...if there is no "warfare" for a day or so..

We are all assuming that the lull will give the Hezzies time to rearm...but it should help the Israels rearm also.

I think the IAF is using the stand down to great advantage, as suggested by another poster.

I did post that thought - and it only makes total sense. A brilliant move, imo. Give the IDF a breather - and let the Hesbos scrounge for food and water and eletricty.

Sounds like a nice boy. My youngest turns 20 this year, we just finished the whole GED/Community College enrollment thing.

With each of my kids, I was lucky enough to spend the final year before they had their driver's license driving them to regular appointments/classes/events. What's talks! I wouldn't trade a minute of them for huge pile of cash.

It's great to spend some time in the same space as young idealism and possibilities. It's a magical place. I don't want to go back, myself. But it's a nice place to visit with someone you love. :-)

Do you know about Arnica and symphytum to help with the swelling and bone replacement?
