You must have been living in a cave. Israel didn't even exist for over 1500 years until June of 1948, so it wasn't "business as usual since this thing was written, which shows to go ya that you don't know much about Israel's history.

I have no idea what you're having trouble comprehending. It may have been business as usual for a little over 1,000 years after the Psalm was penned, but for 1,878 years there was no nation of Israel. Starting in about 70 AD to 1948. How on earth could the enemies of Israel be "attempting to destroy the nation" if no nation existed for most of the time period since the penning of the psalm to the present.

Therefore your above noted statement is nonsensical.
