He also "endorsed" Tim Kaine for Governor in Virginia....Kaine said "no...really...I don't want your endorsement"
If a scumbag like Michael Schiavo was against me I'd take it as a badge of honor. Did he bring his live-in girlfriend from the time he was trying to get his "wife" killed with him on the campaign trail?
Why should I even be suprised that Michael Schiavo would be cheered by the left. That tacky looking little mustache and feathered back 70's hairstyle, he should be working in an adult video store. I would post a pic, but can't seem to accomplish that here.

Actually, I saw it as quite the opposite, that is I saw it as the State of Florida using evidence that wouldn't meet the standards required in a criminal case, to prove the wishes of a human being. I saw them using popular opinion polls to bolster their case. And I saw them use the testimony of a priest, who didn't know Terry Schiavo, to determine if she was a practicing Catholic.
It's unfortunate that the whole debate became lost in the spin of either side because there were very troubling issues not discussed. The Democrats can talk about the government intruding but in fact they were defending the government's right to determine when they can intrude.
Problem was it wasn't a criminal case, but a civil one. Whatever the case, I didn't think the federal government should have a say in such a specific incidence.
But you are correct that a lot was lost in both sides' spin.
When Michael Shiavo does campaign for a candidate, it says more about the candidate he supportss than it does about Shiavo, himself.
M Schiavo has a PAC and has the unmitigated gall to call it "Terri PAC".

It is not a joke. I wish it were.
The man is indeed a "Creep" and that is the word I was looking for.
Yeah, that is pretty appalling.
Did Terri Schiavo receive the full benefit of equal protection under law? If not, Congress had the authority to try to correct the situation.
Wonder what bliss at the homestead, and political joy, he would have encountered if he'd held out to marry Cindy Sheehan.
Like, if it's so good why don't it's proponents give us a personal demonstration first. We'll be the judge.
Do we have another Cindy in the making?
"Michael Shiavo is the one who should have been allowed to starve to death."
Damn Right!! I like Lieberman, he's one of the few
if not the only democrat I do like.
I saw that he was running. He chills the blood in my veins... His (new)wife should be very careful.
Good point. This is downright creepy.
Remember in 2000 when we called Lieberman a smurf and his voice sounded like nails driven into our private parts? He's still the same guy, don't feel too sorry for him and they guy he ran with.
