I've met many people of substantial education and accomplishment, who have made the most outrageous comments about Jews, e.g. "They control the money.", "They control Hollywood.", "They are the cause of wars.", all manner of ridiculous nonsense, usually leaving me speechless and changing the subject of conversation. Whatever this mental disorder is, Gibson seems to be afflicted.

I am jewish with a decidedly unjewish last name. You would probably not be surprised at the hateful antisemitic comments I have heard from people who would never have made such comments if they'd known I was jewish.

Nothing surprises me anymore and I certainly understand the migration to Israel by jewish people from France and the US lately.
