In YOUR post # 248, you called your definition of a neo-con, an opinion.

Your "opinion" means less than nothing! Calling a blue sky a "MOUSE", doesn't make a blue sky a "mouse". Neither does then calling what you had stated just an "opinion". an OPINION!

Unlike YOU, I have no need to make anything up, nor start a flame war, because I can't refute nor stand up for mu positions.

Leo Strauss is often credited with being the father of neo-cons; which, BTW, he refused and claimed was not so.

Kristol and Podhoritz are more usually called the fathers of the neo-cons; Kristol, especially, accepts the title.

When used as a pejorative, which it regularly is by some here, by Pat Buchanan, and such, is ALWAYS is the code word for JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS. This is NOT some random "opinion", neither is it an "opinion" at all; it is a FACT!

That you don't accept this as fact, means only one of two things......you are being disingenuous, or you're terminally ignorant.

And BTW, lying and being a weasel, won't cut it; especially NOT when the proof of your lies are on this very thread and just oh SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy to find; dear. :-)

Yea they are "so easy" to find that you failed to point out a single one.
