Maybe this is a ploy of Gibson's (his agent suggested it) to revive his career. After his Passion of Christ, he was probably black-listed by the socialist/athiest Hollyweird elites, and this is his way of saying "See? I'm human. I erred. I've seen the ""light"". No more religion for me! Now I hate Jews as much as you do. Take me back into the fold.....PLEEEZE!"

BTW,I am not talking about movies that if I were a religious Jew,I would hate because of the crass portrayal of Jews,like "Here Come the Fokkers".Bottom line, movies like that are just attempts to convince the masses that free love,psychotherapy and liberal views are the key to a wonderful,uninhibited life where everyone would be happy and good and be kind to one another.
