I hate it when somebody who "represents" Christianity comes out as anti-semitic.

Gibson "represents" neither Christianity nor Catholicism. He's a director who made a movie about The Passion.

That does not make him a spokesman for Jesus.

Originally that sentence said 'represents Christianity in the minds of much of the public.'

I decided to just put "represents" in quotes instead to show that I don't think he particularly represents Christianity.

So, basically, I agree with your post.
