Not really supposed to eat the noodles because of the high fat content (type 2 diabetic) and heart problems. However, when pinch comes to shove and that's all you have, you eat it. Comes in several flavors. Have gotten through many lean days with not much food around with these noodles.
Im sorry to hear about the diabetes.
I often make large salads with meat that are cheap too.
You can make a mighty tastey seafood salad with that artificial crab. Tuna is always good with a salad and a ceasar dressing.
Thinly sliced beef(on sale of course) is mighty good on a salad dressed with balsamic dressing(I put hot chili in it)
Oh, those vifon noodle soups are rice noodles. is that OK for diabetics?
Anyone with heart problems really should be avoiding ramen noodles. Just check the sodium content on the box--it's a killer. As are canned soups. Guaranteed to send blood pressure sky high.
Just buy your own dry noodles, some salt-free bouillion powder and add herbs to jazz up the broth.
