Didn't someone mistakenly bomb a Chinese embassy a while back. The world did not end. After an apology and payment of some money, it blew over, but they were not using that site for intelligence gathering any more.

Panama-Noriega thing, playing loud rock music 24/7 until they give up? In Panama
we gave up because it was the Vatican embassy that Noriega was holed up in, but if it's the Iranians I can't see that there would ever be a reason to stop (at least for 444 days).22 posted on
