I believe strongly in what we're doing and if the other side just protested I could respect them. But using DIA/WIA service men and women as a focal point of their protests angers me to no end. Sheehan says its in town

Our new property is in town and literally right around the corner from the Peace House. It is a beautiful, wooded 5 acres of land that will be ideal for our expanding peace population and for hosting our growing family. We are looking forward to being good neighbors in Crawford whenever we are there and we are looking forward to having good neighbors, also.

O.K., I know the general area. It may be along the road toward the community center, or south of the "peace center" on the south side of the Waco highway. However, being in town, they can always show up and hold anti-Bush signs whenever the White House press corps gives a live report (they report from Crawford, not the ranch which is 7 or 8 miles away.).

If they can get away with it, they'll be in the ditch again. But I think the county put some restrictions on blocking/protesting along the road, so don't know how it will play out now.

It's a little ironic that the property owner didn't want the "peace protesters" there in August because his family was planning to SHOOT DOVES.

See, it's irony on multiple levels. Not that I'm advocating violence. It just struck me as funny--the guns, the doves, the other doves, the "peace." I'm surprised someone isn't protesting the property owner for shooting animals. Perhaps PETA will show up, and then they can arm wrestle Sheehan's people for camera time.
