I also feel sad that the murdered man did not seem to have time or composure to say his last prayers. That is understandable. At least the Good Lord heard him calling His Name at the end.

This is what I was responding to.

Maybe the man didn't understand the scope of what was happening...

..but he recognized the urgency and realized he wasn't ready to die.

My heart wishes he had surrendered to God in the end, rather than fighting ...

..but bless his heart, he was scared & confused & only God knows.....not I.
