As she was in the stairwell coming down the steps, the firemen were going up. I think that would haunt me also.

After the impact of the planes some of the stair well where not passable. Also heard that doors where also jammed in some offices and they where unable to open.
Did any other freepers read or hear about this also?

You are right, he knew, we all knew.
I have said this on FR before. I really think we should petition networks (Foxnews) to play the original footage of that day on the 5th anniversary this year. They can keep a little box in the corner with live comments, etc, but play the original footage from when they got word the first plane hit to at least noon. The US has forgotten too much about that day, and the networks have buried the film.

(((This just makes my heart feel like it will break. My daughter was in the first tower to be hit. She was on the 38th floor. As she was in the stairwell coming down the steps, the firemen were going up. This memory still haunts her. I am so blessed that she made it out.)))
