When does a bomb become a chemical bomb? It is my understanding that a phosphorus bomb is an incendiary device, and that it uses a chemical to start a fire. It doesn't use chemical interactions with human physiology to kill, which is the usual definition of a chemical weapon.

Similarly, a conventional high explosive bomb uses chemicals to create an explosion. This is not a chemical weapon, just because it uses chemicals.

Ain't none of them nice bombs, however.

Exactly. It's a "Willy Pete" (White Phosphorous) round. It generate extreme heat. This is not a WMD.

"The corpses of these victims are shrinking to half their normal size."

Simple! These chemical bombs must contain alum.

What's the old joke about convincing your girlfriend to use alum and Kentucky Fried Chicken batter? Make it up tight and finger licking good?
