We're rooting for the IDF to kick the sh*t out Hezbollah and let rest of the world be damned. Let those who disagree bury their head.

Count me in, too!
Enough is enough, let the long overdue eradication begin in earnest.

And it is because we became so upset over upsetting you, dear world, that we decided to leave you - in a manner of speaking - and we supported the establishment of a Jewish state. No need to say thanks. No biggie. You're welcome!

Dear world, why did the Arabs - the "Palestinians" - massacre 67 Jews in one day in 1929?Because they were there.
Now, I have a bit of a beef with this column: he fails to acknowledge that the Evangelical Christian, today, is Israel's staunchest ally. I know, it's de rigeur to adduce the Crusades when assessing Jewish-Christian relations from a standpoint of "longstanding tension"; but, how many more centuries will be necessary in order to make some Jews and arabs cease to invoke that miserable episode?

The Jews in Israel are in no way terrorists in this fight or any other. But I do find it shocking that Hezbollah has shown itself to be such a formidable force. I envisioned the IDF blowing across the Northern front and hunting these terrorists down in the streets but that hasn't happened.

Israel is on the front line in the war of Western Civilization with Islamic Terrorism and takes the brunt with the blood of its citizens and soldiers. The Israeli people should be applauded by all in the West.

How many Arabs have been killed by Israeli suicide bombers? That's right exactly zero. The 6 million Israelis are surrounded by 400 million Arabs, yet are painted as the bully.

Kahane wrote this in 1988. I think that it is important to point out, for the record, that Rabbi Meir Kahane was murdered in Manhattan on the night of November 5, 1990 by the Egyptian terrorist, El Sayid Nossair. Kahane was murdered because he was a Jew, and while that is tragically far from a unique event in history, it underscores this essay's truth.

Why the belligerence and the anger at "Washington",I wonder? For goodness' sake,President Bush supports Israel and is probably the best ally they've ever had. Many Americans support Israel. No need for the broad brush.

"I understand that you are upset by us, here in Israel. Indeed, it appears that you are quite upset, even angry."
Not the least bit upset. I am actually overjoyed that Israel is letting all these idiots of the world know they can pummel the insurgents. And, my only objection is, "Why not sooner?"
