Nancy with the kids

The women folk around here would probably be interested to know that Nancy has a glass closet at the Library where she keeps some of her duds.

It was a good time, wasn't it?

You are one of the FR people that I didn't get a chance to meet, dern it.

It sure was nice to go to the library and to dinner as a group. Fantastic event.

Some of Ronald Reagan's ranch gear:

Nice shootin' iron he's got there. Revolvers rock!

This isn't a saddle he used, it was given to him by a dignitary from another country.

Here he is riding at the Ranch. Looks like English style. I was on the horse behind him holding onto and honking the horn on a Western Saddle...

We did go!

This was my first time, and I am ready to go back and spend more time there.

Thanks for the PING, Syncro. I absolutely love that place. Everytime I've gone, it's full of good Americans. And your pics are great. I'm happy for you all.

I couldn't make it, I was there the weekend before, with a Boy Scout group from my town. Awesome place, and yes, you do feel as if he is right there enjoying all the visitors.

A President like this comes once in a lifetime. I am proud I got to see him once in person.

I also got to see President Nixon in person in front of Burbank High School while he was running for president. You just never forget things like that.

My family had such a great time there, my two oldest grandchildren were especially engaged in learning all that history.

It was good seeing some of the CA group again. Next time we'll have a larger crowd - we need to plan it during the cooler months - October is usually perfect.

Syncro, I was glad to see you didn't post ALL those pictures .. LOL!

I was at the Reagan Library in September of 2000. They didn't have Air Force One there at the time.

That was also the time I met for the first time some of L.A.'s finest Freepers. :-)

This is part of a carved wood bia-relief art work.

There were several areas where they show movies and speeches by or about Mr. Reagan. These are from the one for the Memorial Service for The President which was held at the Library shortly after his death.
