If you're stating the entire MM mission was one big PR move and had nothing to do with the concrete promises they made to donors and members, then Simcox is a fraud and a cheat.

You can play all the "ends justifies the means" games you want, if the man made promises he should keep them. If it was all about PR then he should have stated that and not accepted donations based on false pretenses.

I doubt it would have made a tremendous difference to the people writing checks or walking the border. Now his reputation will be tainted and his movement marginalized.

I think Simcox was a good man who got in with the wrong people.

FGS, Bob. It's hotter than a blast furnace down there right now. Why do you expect him to build the thing overnight when the government can't even seem to do it at all?
