Give it a rest. Why was the child not in a cart? Why was the child 5 feet away at the age of only 3? Why did Mom only hear the crash and not see it?

DJ, we get it, you're mother of the year, your children are saints and the rest of us are mere mortals. My 3 year old is tall and reed thin and doesn't fit into a cart - just the other day in WM I let my 5 year old walk 5 feet down the aisle to look at crayons while I looked at binders - I guess that makes me pond scum because as long as they're behaving and respecting others I let them look.

You're kid could've been hanging off your jeans in a store and a cart could have mowed him down, he could have fallen backwards, hit his head and died - does that mean your responsible? I mean, after all, he could have been in your arms while you shopped (/sarc). Tragedies like these happen everyday and they are NOT ALWAYS a parents fault. I swear such a display of superiority I haven't seen in a long time.
