You have commented on your upbringing and how you raised you children. It worked. And at age 3, they can be so cute and lovable, but they surely cannot be trusted to be out of sight even for a moment. They are too curious about their surroundings.

We both have been here long enough to know that if someone can't win debating facts, attack. There's been a lot of that. It also points out how different child rearing is now. Do you suppose there's a little guilt mixed in with the insults?
