The blame for that should be layed directly at the feet of Olmert and the peace activist (do the research) defense minister Peretz. Israel has never had in its life this type of unresticted green light and it is wasting the opportunity. Which begs the question - why is Netanyahu not screaming bloody murder

I have a feeling that "privately", Bibi is saying the same thing you are...that they have the golden opportunity, with relatively NO roadblocks, to do what is necessary.
He is, like George Bush, a tough guy...and I am sure he is telling Olmert that he will publicly back him...IF he does this right.
Oh...and also...isn't it refreshing to have a powerful politico come out in public saying he BACKS the leader of his country..and that they will go to war, and win it as one??? (regardless what is said behind doors)
