I'm curious about that statement. Isn't Netanyahu the hardliner? And Olmert ... where is he?
Netanyahu would probably have Beirut encircled by now and be steamrolling thru the Bekka with follow on forces mopping up south of the Litani. Olmert is a "centrist" with the Kadima party. However, look a little into his family history, particularly his daughter who makes greenpeace look like a bunch of fachists. I am of the opinion Olmert has no stomach for this, but he knows his political career would be over if he didn't do something.
