I was reading somewhere that the IAF was getting all the training money the past couple years because everyone thought that air superiority would ensure victory. This resulted in less training for ground forces, etc.
It is sad seeing these Israeli troops heading into battle without flak jackets like our US troops have.
Israelis are tough, very masculine men. I know, I saw hundreds of them yesterday at the Israel rally in the Miracle Mile.
I'm not familiar with their Army gear, though.
I just hope our soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan have had terrorist training. And from what I'm reading, the terrorists have ramped up their techniques and have absolutely no fear of death.

Israeli soldier, simply: "We fight harder."
FOX reported coming in of new rocket attacks, wouldn't this be the first night firings of the war. I was under the impression Hizbullah hadn't been firing at night to avoid giving off a bigger heat signature than necessary
