The Israelis have surrounded Bint Jbeil and are embroiled in a battle against 400-500 Hezbollah Fighters.
They are hoping to take many captives alive and show the world their surrender, to put beyond doubt that there are Terrorist Fatalities, and the ISrael Army doesnt run around killing Lebanese Civillians.
Personally a video of dead fighters are just as effective, just think of Uday and Qusay Hussein, or Al Zarqawi.
Captured soliders leaves you open and vulnerable, you may have to give them back some day.
