I was not being sarcastic, I really do feel for the guy. He was very upset and if he's in the know that makes me worry as well.

Evans is about half right.
His information seems entirely Israeli and his 'absolute' conclusions don't mask his ignorance of anything else going on. Maybe if he knew what Ms Rice was going to say, or what other regional states had been advised to do, or what was going on over the next hill, I'd give him some credibility.

Oh, and if he'd stop squealing.

One thing he's right about is that Israel should not stop until they've reached their goals.
I'm assuming there that those goals are to take away Hizbolla's military capacity and incidentally leave them bare to Lebanon's mandate to finally disarm them.
(If they are willing to do so - that's the biggie)
