Along the same line(s), if you're tired of what's on Fox some evening, and are just TV'd out, period, IF you haven't read it, sit down with a copy of Robert Heinlein's "The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress". Boulders as deadly weapons...
And I'd have to say a good part of my conservative leanings were initially shaped by that book... (Initial shaping of a skull full of mush?)
That book helped shape my viewpoints too...Glad to know I wasn't the only one around here who had that experience...
