Shep actually thought he could debate Amb Mark Ginsberg. It was sad.
...and Hunt "chuckles" at Colmes's absurd comments.
THAT was unbelievable (assuming you saw the same horrific segement I did sometime late last week I think it was?)......I couldn't believe that the host (forget the show it was on?) didn't cut Shep off (or pull the plug and claim 'communication error' from overseas! LOL) to prevent them all even more humiliation. They had to know he'd not be able to speak coherently on it, never mind converse or debate with someone who has real knowledge of the area. I still don't understand why they'd not use someone like Jennifer who also has knowledge of the situation from on the ground now, but also living there for years.
Someone (on the part of Fox) needs to save video from that segment and use it as 'documentation' for when they finally decide they have enough to not renew his contract! That was very demonstrative of ...so many of the reasons he's just a mess!
He did show, however, that he has NO self-esteem issues if he thought he a) was qualified to discuss such issues with someone like Ginsberg to begin with, and b) acted like that once in the situation and didn't seem to think a thing of it!
