No, I think that it will continue for a month or so, then someone will suggest that Saudi and Egypt will provide the soldiers for the International peace force. It is not a good idea, but at least they can not be said to be in favor of Hezbollah, rather the opposite ;-)
How far does Israel go in the month period? Litani, Bekka, south Beirut? I have a hard time believing the Israelis will voluntarily agree to Egyptian and Saudi soldiers on their borders
What EFFECTIVE force could be put in the South that the majority of Lebanese Shiites in the South would not actively oppose and start picking off? I can't think of any.
