Your gratuitous insult in posting the above link to a good FReeper who's just had his life saved by one of the dogs which you arbitrarily despise is typical of FreeRepubic's arrogant social fascist minority.

The reason she posted that link is because kanawa asked how her dog is, and those posts are the latest update on (guess what?) her dog's condition.

Further if anyone should be offering one it's those of FR's social fascist element whom through literally hundreds & hundreds of posts have persisted in attacking law-abiding people's pets even when confronted with the reality that no one beyond PETA (!) agrees with them and in the face all logic, provable facts & fundamental common sense.

BTW, I own cats and simply, as a good conservative, prefer folks like our FRiend Tom having whatever sort of dog they choose governed by individual responsibility & personal accountability over having opportunistic slimeball left-wing politicos pandering to ignorance & hysteria & dictating which pet he'll be permitted to have.

Plus, when all the Vets & Humane Societies agree that so-called 'breed ban' laws are wrong-headed, that's good enough for me.
