UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
An official from the U.N. monitoring force in south Lebanon, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the press, told The Associated Press in Beirut that between 300 and 500 troops are believed to be in the western sector of the border, backed by as many as 30 tanks.
WHAT THE ($&$ Can't they SHUT their faces already?
My GAWS. I HATE THE U.N
end rant
Pushing straight into Southern Lebanon, into defenses built up over the last 6 years, is going to result in serious casualties for the IDF.
The best move is an 'Inchon amphibious op' just south of the Litani river. Drive East and cut Hezbollah off from Beirut and the Bekka Valley. Once cut off the IDF can squeeze them from 2 sides while cutting off resupply. Use your superior mobility and strike power to offset their somewhat formidable static defenses.
