Don't believe the Media, and here is the info of when he last spoke to them:

For Immediate Release Office of the Press Secretary July 9, 2001

Videotaped Remarks of the President to NAACP National Convention

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. I'm honored to be able to send my greetings to you for the 92nd annual convention of the NAACP.

Okay so he sent a greeting via video tape, a few minutes at most. Not the same as speaking to them in person as President.

Another thing to remember about President Bush he doesn't cater to what some group may think or want but rather he does what he deems proper at the time. So a few hot heads hate him or hate the group he spoke to doesn't speak very well for them, does it? My guess is the President will do what he thinks is correct regardless of what they though of his actions to represent all the people of the US.

Practice, as my former piano teacher told me, may make one adequate (a tyrant who I eventually respected). I wonder why Bush sent Rove to the La Raza meet instead of addressing them himself if he's finally got a great writer, teleprompter tech and his own speech style down.

It's really quite an achievement for someone not born with the gift of blarney, ala Bill Clinton. It's still the end of the road for this guy who's career seemed to be devoted more to forcing us to a global government than preserving our hard-won independence.

The point is, the small percentage of Blacks likely to vote Republican are turned off by the NAACP. If he wants to boost Black voters, he should dismiss them and go to the churches which really represent the black communities.

But the black churches have been preaching the Democrat line consistently despite the Latino illegals taking all the sub-wage employment and both political parties ditching them for the new majority of potential voters (working, of course, for an amnesty to seal the deal). Face it: black folks have been used for forty years for their votes while getting nothing back but decency programs. Now that a rival "minority" has outnumbered them while edging them out of employment opportunities with their mercenary industriousness the NAACP, like the Labor Unions, seek to "play ball" with the illegals at the expense of their constituents.

It's all so sickening.

Dependency programs.

Never blindly trust spell check programs.

Bushes numbers among Blacks were higher when he didn't speak to this group.

Since when did Bush decide what was the right thing to do based on poll "numbers"?

then why did he speak to them at all?

Because their leadership changed....I'm guessing.
