The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps calls itself a "project of the Declaration Alliance," although few MCDC volunteers know what the alliance does or why Minuteman donations are routed through the charity founded and headed by conservative activist Alan Keyes.
Several Minuteman leaders and members questioned the wisdom of ceding control over fundraising to the Herndon-based Declaration Alliance, part of an intricate weave of conservative organizations founded and chaired by Mr. Keyes or tied to longtime Keyes associates working with MCDC.
MCDC President Chris Simcox told The Washington Times that the alliance offers "an experienced organization for mass mailings, advertising and public relations" and the ability to conduct a "fully accredited and independent audit" of MCDC finances.
Mr. Simcox said he "checked these people out very carefully before agreeing to work with them" and that he made the "correct decision" in hiring "clean professional consultants, accountants and media professionals." He did not, however, disclose during an interview last week or in a 3,961-word follow-up statement how much Declaration Alliance and its affiliated organizations have been paid for their services
During the interview, he said, "Not one cent of MCDC money has been spent on alliance projects." The statement, released on the MCDC Web page, www.minutemanhq.com/hq/, does not mention Declaration Alliance or Mr. Keyes. ...."
"..Diener Consultants first contacted the Minuteman organization in early 2005, said Ms. Hair, the MCDC spokeswoman who also was a top adviser to Mr. Keyes in his presidential and senatorial races. She said she called Mr. Simcox after the Minuteman group was created to ask whether he had a media plan. After being told no, she said, she met with Mr. Simcox and Minuteman co-founder James Gilchrist in Washington and signed an agreement...."

We all did. It was a celebratory mood that night. The losers of course popped corks to forget the whole night.
True, But you know he had no idea he had a neo nazi high pagan female priest helping him out Nahhh no way he knew that lol. I imagine those were some planning meetings at the ranch
Thanks! I am still in CA 'vacationing.'
Still no sound and verifiable answers?
I was amused by the brick walls lining the freeway.... 12 foot tall...
why not build brick walls with all the trappings on top? LOL
Your missing all the fun back home. Jackson has been a zoo this past week with all the protest
What protests?
The abortion clinics?
I take it this is a vacation away from the little darlings? Like, recharging the batteries. Down time. LOL
Something like that.
Ah! OK. Well, anyway, it's good to see you!
Thank you. We had a wonderful FR trip to RWR Library today.
It gone way past abortion clinic protest. The anti abortion group protesting is a tad extreme. They tried go into St James and some Unitarian Church on sunday morning and protest. Well the anarachist showed up and it was quite a show . Also someone called in siad that there was a dead fetus at a Jackson Bank one day. I hear that its got the mayor, the police and pretty much the regular pro life community of Mississippi wishing they would all go home
OMG! Sounds like it's going to be a long, hot summer.
I saw the thread last night that pertained to this trip to the RWR Library. Glad everyone had a good time! One day I hope to visit the library! Reagan was an inspiration to me as a teenager (I wasn't old enough to vote during his two terms) and he still is to this day.
We toured Air Force One! AWESOME.
OMG! That would be so-o-o-o cool!
It is. On e day you will have to see it.
I'm beat. Good night.
Good night onyx. Again, it's good to see you. Rest well!
You beleive all this trash Texas?
After the flag burning, the people in her group had death threats and were prosecuted (dismissed, fined $25), they have a right to their beliefs and freedoms of speech, religious expression and all the other amendments just as you do. During the protests they had permits and were outnumbered 150,000 to 10. The police were there to protect them, and the illegals and their supporters got upset and started throwing things at them. The police arrested 6 of the pro-illegals. 3 or 4 days later the pro-borders types whined to the City Council. The city charged them with "Destruction of Government property", assault and about 5 other charges that were dismissed. They were fined for starting a fire in a park, not in a barbecue. If that makes them evil, you are crazy.
They are citizens and taxpayers whether you like it or not.
Lanie and the Border Guardians are not MMDC or Simcox's group no matter how hard you wish it upon him.
Go ahead and believe the SPLC and the moonbat websites, they are wrong about her associations with Simcox.
I guess you have not noticed, all the Nazi types had issues with Simcox and are former to his group.
Tell me when the State Troopers come to get Simcox. It's gonna be a while at this rate.
