Tx, I heard him too (Gov., MD). When asked if he expected the govmt. to pay or repay he said something like "We'll work that out later". He did not say "Oh no, MD will pay for this" or "What's to pay, these people will go to their own homes"

All of the states that took in the people of NO have billed the fed govt. for what they spent.

Well...I say that the Gov. of Maryland better renege on that promise then...if Congress doesn't approve of fed funds going to Maryland...oops, I am sorry, I forgot, Maryland has DEM Senators..
