According to an Islamic female of my acquaintance, the Koran allows Muslim men to marry Christian, Jewish, etc. women but FORBIDS Muslim women from marrying anyone other than Muslim men.

Hiya Cmom, long time no see.

And from what I understand too, they feel they can abuse or kill their women even if the suspect they are unfaithful, whether a rational suspicion or not.

I can understand the laws against Muslim women marrying anyone else, but I still don't understand if infidels are lower than dirt then why would a Muslim man want anything to do with them or accept children born of them.

I had a Muslim boss once who was totally out there. He was a horrid little creature. Walked in first day to tell me he didn't like me without even knowing me. Then he realized I was left-handed and couldn't be in the same room with me. He would have the right-handed secretary put my folders in a box I suppose so he wouldn't have to touch them until they aired. You can imagine his near stroke when I brought him a watermelon a client had sent him (it's a rural community and folks with abundant gardens/farms give any and everything away). He refused to touch it and couldn't get out of my building fast enough like it was the plague. The big mucky mucks didn't understand our complaints of the weirdo even when every single one in the department quit within months. Mindboggling. This was back when I was young and naive, so what I wouldn't do to know then what I know now.
