There's no border SSW of Shmona, not till you get to Egypt, and I'm pretty sure Avivim is on the border. The options are SW, clockwise, to SE.

Not saying you're wrong, instead, trying to nail down Avivim's location, since early this AM as a matter of fact.

Avivim



Kiryat Shemona is the yellow rectangle to the NNE. The Israeli border juts almost due north a little east of Avivim. Hence, Avivim is SSW of Kiryat Shemona.
