Hey N., That is was my uncle did in the Army in the Korean War. He later joined the Phone Co. in Ohio and ret. from there.

What he does without giving too much away is take incoming calls from the battle, gives them what they need, air support, tanks..etc...all the while keeping track of everyones position on this huge plastic battle map....a very nerve wrecking job, from what I've been told....he can't afford to make a mistake....his BN will run the battle...
