I think the world is waiting to see the Israeli army charge across the border....we won't see that... what we will see is small unit fighting. Special Ops units crossing the border to take out a missile battery...but that poses the risk of those units being ambushed on the way in and on the way out.

I hate to disagree with you but I think the air, arty and specops are to shape the battlefield for the invasion to come. This is much like the period leading up to the US invasion of Iraq.

I heard today that Israel wants to push Hez back so that their bombs won't land in Israel anymore. I'm not sure if they are planning a full scale invasion.
