Ugh...I am watching a Hezbollah apologist from America..a Sarah Lawrence professor, lecturing Anderson Cooper about WHY Hezbollah cannot be "defeated"...
He says it is an "integral part" of Lebanon..
He an Anderson were standing on some high building and the city of Beirut was all around them...very beautiful...and the whole time..this prof is going on and on about how, because of the Israelis...the city is in "RUINS"...LOL
Yes, I heard Greta report on the 16 Israeli soldiers...... odd, now that you mention it.
Thanks. I can understand avoiding that. Hopefully they will be out soon. I know it's frustrating but our military is doing a good job. This can't be safely rushed IMO. Yall easy up on Shep and Jerry though. They are the Fox comedy. They keep us amused during storms:')
I haven't watched the the MSN's in over 5 years. News or crappy entertainment shows. Only exception is football games.
yea, i'm not sure if that's total IDF losses for combat operations inside lebanon, the way she initailly reported made me believe it had just happened
Which of those WMD spots in Syria would you guess the IRAQ WMDS might be in???
Yes, Anderson Cooper. Don't worry, tho, they'll start showing Larry wow is he old King reruns at midnight...I think they show that show 3x during the night!
(gotta start sleeping thru the nights!)
Hubby is a sci-fi nut and I can't stand that. I'm and H&G nut which bores him to tears. We compromise. Of course, If I can fix something up instead of buying something new, he looooves my shows then! LOL
There's no border SSW of Shmona, not till you get to Egypt, and I'm pretty sure Avivim is on the border. The options are SW, clockwise, to SE.
Not saying you're wrong, instead, trying to nail down Avivim's location, since early this AM as a matter of fact.
:-)
I took it the same way you did......as if they were new losses.
Jeeze MO, sorry to hear that. I know what you are going through. Prayers up!
i guess just more of the ol' fog of war. But IF that report was true and the IDF just lost 16 guys, you can bet there is a sizeable IDF force in southern lebanon
He is not all together wrong. Getting rid of Hizb'allah in Lebanon by bombing would be like trying to get rid of the Democratic party in the US by bombing. You could bomb their headquarters. You could take out Dean, Kennedy, the Clintons etc but the party would remain.
He is, however, obfuscating because we all know that it is Hizb'allah's military might that needs to be taken out. If they are simply a political party they have little real power. In fact would probably lose face with the people if they could not "do" anything.
Yep, SciFiFridays started again last week.. so I either stay up of go to bed.... we have a large flat screen that has picture in picture and I have him put it on split screen and I put my ears on and watch my shows while he watches his... that way we have "together" time with the dogs ~LOL~
I know I am an hour behind on my "return posts"...someone didn't want to go to sleeeep.
Anyway..I think KOFI is trying to stay out of Iran's doghouse...
I think HE is afraid of Iran..and I have thought that Al-Baradei has been afraid of them for a long time.
Therefore, nothing he says should mean a darn thing to Israel or the USA...ignore him.
I was just reading at shia-chat and they have made a huge deal of those photographs. If you go to look, it is not pretty.
