He is saying Iran and Syria are not helping them (BS), and that he has no palaces so where is all the money they allegedly gave him, etc. He is trying to pull in the PLO people, by displaying the Palestinian flag during his interview. Also said it was fine if the other Arab leaders want to stay on the side (but dont vote in favor of Israel on anything)
I'd say they have some intel that suggests something very bad may be in the works.
Wouldn't go that far, but I bet he's in a hidey hole in the mountains where he can slip into Syria easily.

Two Israeli tanks destroyed by Lebanese Hizbollah
The Lebanese Hizbollah claimed on Thursday that it destroyed two Israeli tanks in a village on the southern borders in Lebanon.
The Shiite militant group said in a statement that it thwarted an Israeli attempt to carry out a ground operation in the Lebanese border village of Maroun al-Ras and destroyed two Israeli tanks early Thursday.
Meanwhile, the group said that it launched Katyusha missiles towards west Al Jalil and Karmiel settlement in northern Israel, which was not confirmed by the Israeli side.
Israel also raided the broadcast antenna of Hizbollah's al-Manar television station in an area of the eastern Lebanese town of Hermel on the border with Syria, the group added, without giving further details.
Violence between Israel and Hizbollah continued in the ninth day since it was erupted after the Shiite militant group kidnapped two Israeli soldiers and killed eight in a cross-border attack on July 12.

I think Haaretz gives a better "feel" for what's important than the cable news channels or other news outlets, who "shape" and "fill out" the story with their own concerns...
