The 1895 quake WAS NOT the big one - by the way - I live here!
yes I know... the graphic was show how far and strongly the 6.0 on the NM was ~vs~ the 6.7 that was in SF.
a 6.0 on the NM will be a lot more damaging and wide spread than a 6.7 in SF.
I am also in the area... I am about 85 miles south of STL along the Mississippi River. If a 6.0 hits I doubt my home will still be standing.
Now I really need to hit the bed ;-)
